Metered Licensing

Metered licensing refers to usage-based licensing. In FlexNet Operations, metered licensing starts with the creation of a metered license model and related choices about the reusability, undo interval, and overdraft settings for products that use it. For more information about these settings, see the exercise, Creating License Models.

With a metered license model created, you can define features to match the usage data your usage capture clients are sending and create a product that delivers those features under the rules defined by your metered license model.
